Ek-Vemu Sri Lanka, on a different note
Well.. This post actually covers the backstage scenes at the Glamorous event.
Starting with the bus ride, the journey was crazy as ever with Os & Ant showing up with the bus 10 minutes before the planned time & everybody having to do a sprint to catch it.
Ant made sure people were entertained with his skilled hands on his guitar; his baby according to him :D
The bus reached there on time with the screaming LEOs to find the organizing club members in extravagant outfits in a pretty impressive auditorium. The Chief had arrived there in his BENZ in a maroon colored sarong lifted up to his knees.. darn.. Not being able to capture these moments in pictures.. I guess we should do a fund raiser to buy a digital camera.. ;)
And the things went pretty fine & some leos were seen to be overwhelmed with the unexpected apperance of Bhathiya, Santhush, Ashanthi & X. We spotted a few LEOs carrying paper scraps with the celebrity signatures while some were eagerly posing for photographs with our own star ;)
The bus ride back was rocking with the Baila competition of the front versus the back..
All in all, pretty good stuff ..
